Found on living beech tree Possibly Velvet Shank (flammulina velutipes) aka Enoki/Velvet Foot I’ll go back and check if it has a skirt, in which case it could be poisonous Galerina marginals (funeral bell). UPDATE: stem has no skirt. Stem is green tinged. UPDATE: confirmed as sulphur tuft
