What kind of wood was it growing on?

I don’t know if it’s an angel wing (so named for what you’d get if you ate them) or a lung oyster (edible) or something else, but it’s some kind of pleurotoid. Don’t eat anything you’re not 100% sure about. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pleurotoid_fungi
