Looks messy, was messy. Baked to kill the worms so I could safely examine, baked to a near black color. Smelled like mushrooms (buttons, etc).

My back acreage, there’s deer here all the time it’s thick grass with years of oak branches in a naturally moist spot close to a creek. What are deer mushrooms because I can confirm I’ve seen deer eating them
