sighted Unknown Species on

This is one of the most interesting I’ve found, purple swirled into the stalk, very large the size of a commercial portabello. Had split itself across the top when I found it. Smelled good but I believe it’s poisonous? Found in grass in shade.

Was the growing by itself. It looks like somebody kicked it anyways. Fine kind of looks ugly but great picture.

It was growing in an area where multiple mushroom species are within 50 ft, and some with 5ft, but it was the only of its kind. The kicker was me, who found it had cracked itself, so I turned it over to see the gills. Could have staged a better photo but I believe more info is found on the underside? Lepista, thank you! Time to research..
