bicolor boletes are quite simple to determine, look out for the shallow tube layer, this one seems to be a xerocomus check out cross-section pictures: https://www.mushroomexpert.com/boletus_bicolor.html

I do see the difference in the shallow tube layer, the xerocomus rubellus has deeper tube layer. You are a very patient teacher thanks
