In a flower bed that is mulched. Appeared this morning after rainy night. Adjacent planting’s are iris and lilac. Area is formerly deciduous forest, mostly oaks. Width is avg. height is max. Height range is 2 - 8 inches tall. Thought maybe orange peel fungus? I’m new to this. Concerned, have a dog.
