Ohne ein Bild von der Unterseite ist die Art nicht bestimmbar !! Es kann alles mögliche sein.

I remember it being a polypore with other younger specimens beside it, I did a lot of searching to find what specimens in the uk might look similar, I didn’t find any results that matched up apart from trametes gibbosa. If you have any suggestions of any other specimens in the uk that also look like this I’d greatly appreciate it :)

Your mushrooms are old specimens with algae on the cap. Trametes gibbosa is not impossible. This species have round and elongated pores. So we must see a picture of the underside for determination.
