Found on cut pine log from road I thought chicken of the woods. Now I’m thinking mock oyster but they don’t stink kinda like licquorice.

could be Phyllotopsis nidulans, mock oyster, definitely no chicken of the woods

That’s what I was thinking but no bad odor yet.

I think, it is Phyllotopsis nidulans. The odour is very unpleasant, but not for all peoples.
