Die Rotkappen, würden im frischen Zustand, im Schnitt dunkel violett bis schwarz anlaufen. Der Birkenpilz verfärbt sich im Schnitt gewöhnlich nicht , wie es bei diesem abgebildeten Exemplar zu sehen ist 😉
